Every month, Puyallup/Sumner Chamber of Commerce CEO Tara Doyle-Enneking sits down for a small roundtable discussion with our members via the 12@12 Chamber CEO Chats. While topics have varied, crime is far and away the number one issue they face.

We have begun to address this issue in earnest, in a variety of ways:

1) We hope you'll consider signing on to a letter we are sending to Gov. Jay Inslee asking for a special session to address this issue. We believe a special session is urgently needed to address some of the police reform bills passed in 2021 that were not adequately addressed in the 2022 Legislative Session. Learn more and sign on to letter here >>>

2) We held a Combating Crime Symposium to discuss this issue in a public meeting on June 27 at Farm 12 Events Center. With all of the data, resources, tips and calls to action, we are working hard to corral all of this helpful information and plan to include a full recap here on this page and in our newsletter.

3) We will continue to discuss this issue during our Government Affairs Council meetings.
